This policy outlines our compliance framework, safety standards, testing protocols, labeling requirements, and commitments to product safety for all toys sold through our website and authorized channels.
2. Applicable Safety Standards
All CYJIBE toys comply with the following mandatory safety standards:
- United States: ASTM F963 (Toy Safety Standard), CPSIA (Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act), 16 CFR Parts 1303 (Lead in Paint), 1307 (Phthalates), and 1500 (General Product Safety)
- European Union: EN 71 (Parts 1, 2, 3 – Physical & Mechanical, Flammability, Chemical Safety), Toy Safety Directive 2009/48/EC, and REACH regulations
- United Kingdom: UKCA marking requirements and UK Toy Safety Regulations
- International: Age-appropriate safety guidelines, choking hazard prevention, and flammability restrictions
3. Product Testing & Certification
Every CYJIBE toy undergoes rigorous third-party testing by accredited laboratories to ensure compliance:
- Pre-production testing for materials, construction, and chemical composition
- Physical and mechanical safety testing (small parts, sharp edges, impact resistance)
- Chemical safety testing (heavy metals, phthalates, lead limits, and restricted substances)
- Flammability testing for textile and plastic components
- Electrical safety testing for battery-operated toys (ASTM F963, EN 62115)
- Issuance of valid certifications: Children’s Product Certificate (CPC) for the US, EU Declaration of Conformity for the EU, and UKCA Declaration for the UK
4. Labeling & Warning Requirements
All CYJIBE toys and packaging include mandatory safety information:
- Age grading (e.g., “Suitable for ages 3+” or “Not suitable for children under 36 months”)
- Choking hazard warnings for small parts: “WARNING: Choking hazard – small parts. Not suitable for children under 3 years.”
- Plastic bag suffocation warnings: “WARNING: To avoid danger of suffocation, keep this plastic bag away from babies and children.”
- Supervision warnings: “Use under adult supervision” for functional or activity toys
- Compliance marks: CE, UKCA, and tracking labels as required by regulations
- Manufacturer/importer contact information and batch/lot numbers for traceability
5. Material Safety Commitments
CYJIBE uses only non-toxic, child-safe materials:
- Surface coatings free from lead and heavy metals (below regulatory limits)
- Plastic components compliant with phthalate restrictions (DEHP, DBP, BBP, DINP, DIDP, DNOP)
- Textiles and fabrics meeting flammability standards
- No harmful chemicals, allergens, or restricted substances as defined by CPSIA, REACH, and EN 71
